We love the Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic.
By supporting the race through our naming-rights partnership, Powercor honours the tradition of this iconic cycling event to our region, including our people and their families who live and work within the South-West and whose involvement in the Warrny spans decades.
It takes a lot of grit, courage and determination to take on what many regard as the toughest one-day races in Australia, and Provelo’s backing demonstrates that the Warrny is a world-class event, and the fact that it takes place in our own backyard, in southwest Victoria, is incredible.

We’re proud to service every home and business along the Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic 267km route.
Our network stretches from the start line at Avalon Airport right to the famous finish line at Raglan Parade in Warrnambool. That means every single home and business along the entire race route is a Powercor customer.
Our crews are always out and about working on the network, so, we know a lot about the challenges that cyclists can face on the day, especially if they are exposed to the sea winds that come into play between Port Campbell and Warrnambool.
On race day and as official race partner, you’ll catch us at the finish line in Warrnambool where we welcome the local community to come down and get a liney-view of Raglan Parade in our buckets.
