Model Standing Offer threshold changesModel Standing Offer threshold changes

As part of the flexible exports launch on 1 July 2026, we’re increasing the capacity thresholds within the Model Standing Offer (MSO).

The MSO is the contract we have with customers who install micro embedded generators, such as rooftop solar, batteries, and other small-scale energy systems commonly found in homes.

This update will allow more customers to participate in flexible exports and reduce the number of residential and small business customers who require a generator agreement, further simplifying the process.

It’s the installers responsibility to ensure the site is suitably rated for the maximum export capacity.

The new thresholds can be found outlined here  LV EG Network Access Standard – Capacity up to 200kVA.
